I asked the question here a while ago as to what it meant to people when they used the term. First time my post was removed, now understandably, as it might have led people to admit to their LGs in their lives being a bit more than just friends.

I rephrased the Q and the couple of answers led me to believe everyone used it to mean Little Girl & Friend, in the same way two straight women talk about their 'girlfriends'. I therefore started to use it in this way also, having first taken the time to check it out.

I don't know that anyone here actually thinks they have a 10yo Girlfriend!? Happy to stand corrected.

I also like the term BLB which someone introduced me to. Best Little Buddy. Kinda cute, and says what LGF tries to say, without the confusion.
