The site seems a bit generic, I'd rather consult the actual laws on the books rather than some website who happened to snag the domain name. But if you mean that the media often don't do proper research and consult information hubs like this, in all the glory of their misleading definitions, then I'd agree.

The definition can be interpreted different ways though. To me it describes an obsession and crimes that sometimes result from it.

Unfortunately, escalation to murder DOES exist with stuff like this, it's a grim reality that can't be overlooked. When people become too objectifying and selfishly fixated upon gratification at all costs then they may murder children to keep them quiet.

You really have to try to relate with lawyers who actually deal with monstrous scenarious like this and why they want to be clear how this stuff is often associated.

The way a lot of non-pedophiles call themselves ones doesn't help matters either, since they're trying to lend an objective ration of sanity to something they're actually not always relating to much at all.
