The romans fell... so what are you getting at here? Are we surrounded by barbarians and I didn't notice? The reason for Roman prosperity was not this, because you can pretty much guarantee there weren't many restrictions of sex amongst the barbarians who destroyed the empire. Society stands for better stuff than that.
