There are so many dangers that would be reduced or eliminated if the parents would allow someone who loves their child to spend time with their child, instead of stupidly preventing it because they can't imagine any adult wanting to spend time with a child except for evil purposes. Every time I hear about something like this, a child falling down a well, a child eating poison, a child getting hit riding their bike in the street, and so forth, I know that child would not have been hurt if she had been with me. I guess now I can add a child being crushed by a snake.
