PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA TO INTRODUCE DIDGERIDOO INTO THE SCHOOL CURRICULA AND TO STOP ONE CHILD POLICY Beijing, China The Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party has just unveiled a new radical demographic plan that intends to make China the world's least populous country by 2100. Demographics have always been an obsession for the Chinese, and have been all the more so after the Mao government launched the world famous One Child Policy, by which in certain areas of the country, families can only have one child. This was intended to put a brake to China's raising demographic growth rate, expected to put a huge burden into a then strained economy. But the Party has decided that this policy hasn't gone far enough, and have decided that they should aim at making all the girls in China infertile since they are in elementary school. They have chosen to enforce the playing of the didgeridoo, which Australian researchers, working for thousands of years with a huge sample, have irrevocably proven to cause infertility. This, reckons the Central Committee, makes it "perfect for our goal of having China be the world's least populous country in a hundred years' time", President Hu said. Chinese jail factories have been ordered to produce ten billion of them in two months time, after designs that look suspiciously similar to those Australia Instruments has trademarked, which seems can become a problem in the next East Asian summit. ![]() |
