Firstly, campaigns are not objects, so you don't see them. Campaigns frequently do not even organize, or are even named. They are subtle memetic undercurrents.

You seem to be missing the point here. I am not talking about sexual conversion, but perceptual conversion. This would be clear to you if you had adequate reading comprehension skills.

PJ's description is mostly heresay however some parts of it do ring true, because people are promoting that teenagers think of themselves as pedophiles even though they are not. People here twist words into rare definitions, have people using them, and then they get in trouble for it.

Software isn't an issue. Security isn't an issue. It's great that a lot of people see the need to be protective. Others don't. They are naive, and are being punished for their trust in humanity. It is NOT a matter of 'flipping the bird'.

People come and think "oh, is THAT all a pedophile is? That's not a big deal at all. I'm sure peeople just have the wrong idea about it. I'll call myself one, and when people ask me, I'll go tell'm what it REALLY is and since it's not a big deal, I'm not at any risk."

The problem though, is it is NOT what it really is, not in any professional sense, and these broad definitions here are spouted as if there were some sort of authority behind them, without adequately expressing the more professional uses (such as in law enforcement or psychiatry) which will be referenced.

In your post, I read a myriad of subtle threats. To be quite honest, while I'm rather scared of antis, I am just as much scared of posters on this board (pedo and non-pedo alike) who hold a different viewpoint and would just love to make vague threats.

A campaign does not have to be 'credible'. It is a matter of opinion. There is no organized campaign I know of or have proof of, however I do suspect such a thing, such a uniform desire to mislead and indoctrinate anyway, exists among many posters here. Many want 'company' because they have this idea that 'everyone is like me' which is simply false. The more human shields the better, right?

To say 'I was born a pedo' is an assumption. Not an educated assumption either. You understand little about sexuality if you're willing to make deferences to nature so authoritatively like this, overlooking nurture and individual complexity.

The 'follow safe practises' indoctrination is not bad. The lack of emphasis on following it IS. The lighthearted atmosphere, and the misleading use of terminology is. The warnings were not always as thorough, and I still think they are not present enough considering the level of danger that exists to posters here, and I can only think that this negligence reflects a lack of concern or even a desire for attention to be shifted towards new ignorant posters who are baited onto this board from other less notable areas of the internet.
