Can't possibly see how he could be charged with "child pornography", especially given that a 14 yo isn't even a child. He could be charged with illegal or "under age" porn but not CP (at least not realistically and accurately defined). And I'd be vocally protesting like hell against the very name of the charge if it was me up there before the courts. It's one thing to make something illegal but another thing to call the charge something it simply is NOT!
