So Does GC really mean Google-Censored, or not?

Downstream, Eeyore said that to his knowledge, "GC disappeared from Google when the webmaster, long ago, intentionally removed the tags that allow Google to find it. Perhaps it's different now, but originally, that was the reason GC disappeared from the search engine. This topic seems to come up over and over again. It would be nice to get an answer once and for all."

I agree with his final sentence.

When I ran a Googlectomy with "annabelleigh.net" I get lots of results, but no direct links (at least not in the first 3 or 4 pages) to posts, here. Also, and encouraging, I don't get the usual, "Google has removed results because...chillingeffects, blah, blah," at the bottom of the page.

So, reasons as to agreement or disagreement with the situation, aside, I am just wondering if Eeyore's knowledge is true, or not.
