Truth And Fiction

Well, I've been a member of that board for years now and still am. This story -like related articels in German media- is mixture of some facts and a lot of fiction.

Our board is a discussion forum about paedophilia, we are open for paedophiles, anti-paedophiles and anybody who is interested to talk about issued related. The forum is a phpbb installation and with some breaks it is up since 2004. The visible content of the board was and is legal under German criminal law. No pornographic material -according to German law- has ever been posted there. But some guys seem to have used the private massage system of the board to trade some pics or even more.

It is true that the board -around 2006- had been placed on a Swiss located server after the provider had agreed to keep care for it and he knew from the very beginning it would be a pro-paedophile forum. The board was hosted there for quite a time before they changed mind.

About a year ago swiss police must have copied the database of the board and it was shut down for some time. The provider told us something about DDOS-attacks... The forum went up and down for some time until December 2007. During this month time some users of the board -we had more than 2000 accounts registered- got an unwanted visit by police.

It seems to me that the Swiss and Austrian authorities tried to search the homes of every member they could get information about. In Germany however not more than 30 or 40 (out of the 600 or even more) users got raided. All the guys I personally know -including myself- did not get searched or charged or even contacted by any police or law enforcement agency so far. BTW If they would have busted the homes of all users they would have catched a lot of antis including members of German child-"protection" agencies.

From what I knew so far Swiss and Austrian Police came up more or less empty. They digged up some "questionable" pictures here and there but nothing big at all. Many users told their stories later and most of them seem to have not committed any crimes. Some were not even paedophiles at all. For example one swiss user I have mailed with since has not even been charged today.

In Austria they searched the home of some clerk of a court but again got up empty. His 19yo daughter had gathered some information about pedophilia. She later shared her story on another board.

It is true that we have discussed wether you should get into RL contact with lgs and if so how. But it isn't true that this topic was related to child porn or illegal action in any way.

The story about the two men having abused -whatever that means- a 13yo girl is totally new to me. Maybe it's true they used the board's PM-system to exchange information but there is no connection with the board itself.
