LOL! Yeah that's exactly what I reckon too. There are so many "phile" suffixes that are supposedly meant to denote an appreciation or great liking of something, but the word "paedophile" oddly seems to be the only exception to the rule. I always wonder myself why wouldn't people realise something here--that this suffix "phile" can't be something so bad!

Btw, you had mentioned the magazine named "stereophile"...actually "audiophile" is the more prevalent word usually encountered when dealing with connoisseurs of high quality hi-fi equipment. This word is used a LOT in the world of amplifiers, dvd players, turntables etc.
