US Media Blackouts And You

This is just a heads up for people regarding the near total mainstream media blackout of the protests in Minneapolis. SWAT teams raided and arrested homes throughout the city over the weekend, grabbing people before they had a chance to protest, which used to be a protected right by the Constitution. Host of Democracy Now got arrested. People with flowers getting pepper sprayed. Marching chants by National Guard troops and militarized police forces with helicopters overhead. It's all out there if you have alternative sources to the MSM, who are merely noting that the number of protesters was expected to be 50,000 and is oddly only 2,000. Salon, Indymedia, Democracy Now, The Uptake.. all of these and other sources can give the story to those interested.

I figured I'd just use this moment to remind everyone just how ripe the times are for demanding media reform for a bazillion reasons, besides the use of pedo hysteria to maximize public fear. So many people are getting on board now, and this latest blackout, though it may seem unrelated to us, is only more fodder to demand the removal of Murdochian control over the press. I am telling you that the way to end the hatred and the obsessive fear of child lovers is to get on board with media reform movements. There is no need whatsoever to mention your orientation. The corporate media is digging its own grave, and you should be obliged to pick up a shovel and assist them. Until they are reeled in, you will continue to suffer from their lying propaganda about you.
