here in my backwater the 'p' word is still thrown around liberally for anything even remotely sexual involving adult and child. any time i post a response on a news site i make a point of only ever using the term 'child molester' (which is the accurate term)so hopefully the message will eventually get through. there will always be lazy journos who aren't too worried about the accuracy of their reporting but with any luck there'll be some who start to think about what the write rather than parrot all the other idiots.
