That's a nice idea. Personally, I just slipped into hardcore enforcement rather than waiting for the human character to change.

...there's a whole theory behind this, which I once shared with a member of PJ. Long story is that, well... people are often evil, and will inflict whatever evil they can get away with if not checked by power. This is the source of antipaederotic sentiment, racist sentiment, and just about any other thing in which the socially degenerate pick a class they percieve to be weaker and attempt to victimize them.

Luckily, it contains within it the seeds of its own cessation. One aspect of which I was just discussing with a leftist str8 kid enjoying their highschool experience. It's amazing how networking one minute ties in topically with networking the next.

...wouldn't concern with said stereotype be what cages one, under the power of whomever chooses to define a stereotype? I mean... they can just issue a new press release saying, oh, "pedophiles like star trek!!," and all of a sudden, pedos-obsessed-with-being-unpedoish suddenly have to stop watching a charming syndication of TV series. I wonder how far one could take it... if one issued a press release saying "pedophiles wear pants!!," would this convince a large portion of the world to walk around without any pants on??

It would certainly be amusing if successful.

I could tie in where I'm going with this with a charming conclusion, and it would probably amount to something along the lines of "if you react to the criticisms of people who want you dead either way, the only party whose power you are going to serve is theirs," but I'm frankly running out of time 'n energy, and my mind trailed off for a second to go pay attention to other things... so, you'll have to figure out the unifying conclusion for yourself. In the interim, I shall proceed to dare you to spraypaint your sigpic on a nearby cop car under cover of night. It would be a positive step forward for society, I assure you.
