I deleted my youtube account awhile ago, and this message really pisses me off! A group of moral puritans band together to decide what I can and cannot see. Fuck you and your self righteousness. The later part asks you to verify that you are 18 or over. Speaks to the oppression of the youth, eh?

"We're free to impose our moral beliefs upon you as long as your not 18." Then they go out and pass laws over 'indecency' to make up for everyone else, citing, among other things, the under 18 crowd again. The oppression of the youth is the justification for the oppression of the masses! How much bull shit is that!? "In order to contain the children within our sphere of control, we're imposing upon you to not say certain words or mention certain topics." Of course oppression of the youth goes by the name "preservation of their chastity." Leading to lies and deceptions about the real world. I had a conversation with some friends of mine about the fact that shielding kids from drug abuse in media actually furthers the incentive to do drugs, while showing what a crack head really is, is by far the better deterrent. Drugs abuse ain't pretty. Same with teen pregnancy. Exposing kids to the mistakes of others helps them learn to be smarter about the choices they make. Fuck censorship!
