The Bible really talks highly about old guys.
Our modern culture though thinks that the elderly are a nuisanse and a bother.
(That is, except for when a person wants to appear charitable...)

People don't respect the elderly anymore and if that is what the poor lass meant then Baldur may have been onto something when he made the corelation between disrespect for the elderly and misopaedic hostility.
