Personally I feel that i was basically "innocent' until around the age of ten or so. And my friends at least the boys that I hung out with were pretty innocent too. If by innocent you are referring to the time we spent thinking about sex. It was just a subject I seldom recall it coming up. The sexes were pretty segregated by free choice back then so that may account for some of it but even with my female cousins and neighborhood girls still when we did get together sex it was a subject that did come up but more in a joking manner. Usually the boys against the girls for some reason. But still not that often. But once puberty started to hit things changed real fast.

Our minds were much freer back then it seems to me, sex seemed to follow the ebb and flow of nature, less manipulation from the media for example. In general I find innocence in pre pubes 5-6-7-8- very attractive I would hate to see it artifically taken from them. And from the world.I don't think they are suffering from this "innocence" unless it is imposed upon them in some cruel manner then i don't think it would be innocence at all anymore. But for the ages of the young girls and boys i mentioned I think this innocence is more their natural state. I feel this way from what i have seen in the world around me, perhaps others have seen things differently.
We can't all see the same things. Now can we?
