I know I said I wouldn't participate in conversations about the Antis or whatever they wish to call themselves, but I feel compelled to comment on your post, d.
I don't like the word "sick." I work with people who are ill on a daily basis, so I know just what it means to be sick. However, I feel that the word "sick" is thrown around by way too many people, as an insult. That offends me, as a caregiver. I'm not trying to start a debate, d, with you, or anyone else, I just have a very strong opinion about this word. The reason I opened this post to read is because you used the word "pray." Though I don't call what I do "praying" (I am sort of wiccan, which some of my gfs say is like being sort of pregnant *l0l*), but I do believe in sending good thoughts or whatever you want to call it, to people who are suffering, even if their pain is misdirected. *s* Celia |
