OK, I *do* know there are posters who do not think highly of them. I will obviously not say who told me such an opinion lol, but there ARE people to dislike *even* them. This is not to say they're many - obviously they are as close as you can get in commanding unanimous respect. And this is not to say they're suspected of not being true GLers - I've heard bad opinions but not suspicions that they're not GLers.

That last thing actually strengthens my point. Even if we were all GLers and there was absolutely no anti / troll / mole here, it doesn't mean everyone will like everyone else. That is a fact of life in society. It can't just be different on GC. When you add to it that not really everyone is a GLer and that we don't know who isn't until they screw up... well, you got the recipe for yesterday's night...
