This principle of innocent until proven guilty is commen sense. You don't publicly shame someone on charges until you are certain. Of course, you don't have to follow the dictum of innocent until proven guilty in your daily lives. The anti's certainly don't. It shows you off as a much more civilised person if you do though.
About "poor fayla". People have pride, people have egos. You actually can hurt people over the internet. Maybe not seriously, but you can hurt people's feelings. Someone insulting you in public is just a bunch of sound waves, that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. If I were Fayla and I were innocent, I'd be pissed off right now, my feelings would be hurt. |
