Why bother if it upsets you so much? You really care about what a bunch of internet strangers think of the reputation of an online persona? Good grief!

There's no way you will be able to say you were "forced" (sniffle) when you do something of your own choice.

A bunch of people "doubting" your online persona does not mean that anyone is forcing you to do anything. My online persona has been doubted lots of times. You don't see me sniffling and threatening to do things that "I'll really regret!!"
