I spent five years in a prison for sex offenders for possession of child porn, and that's long enough for anybody whose been there. Those prisons are worse than regular prisons because the "therapists" can impose every type of punishment there is and without impunity. And never mind that your life is practically ruined - I have a B.A. degree and because of my conviction I worked for $7.00 hr on and off for two years until a friend hooked me up in the trucking industry. Penalties for possession of child porn is punitive enough as is. If they become more punitive, even lolicons might be next for consideration of criminal prosecution in the U.S.
This is a crime that shouldn't even be categorized as such because MOST child pornography is NOT forced, and just looking at pictures does no harm to anyone. For me, I won't get back into child porn because I looked at those pictures out of lust instead of love. And even though I encourage everyone here to not break the law, I still think child porn shouldn't be held as a criminal act. Also, why should making of child porn be punishable by death? Has anyone been murdered in the production and distribution? Sure children may have been abused, but abuse can be overcome if one doesn't allow both the abuse and the abuser to have sway over the rest of one's life. And to impose such a cruel punishment as death on people who make child porn or molest children is something the antis have pushed for, so I hope you're not taking an anti stance. |
