As I said I will not deny that something horrible happened to many Jewish people during the time period of WW2, And many horrible things also happened to others as well. You have done well in referencing the holocaust to a religious belief like creationism. for many it seems that the official holocaust ideology and the unquestioning belief in and acceptance of accuracy in regards to the number of people killed and the means by which they were killed is a sort of religious faith. i do not deny the holocaust but I am skeptical of the data and surrounding ideology. therefore i refer to myself as an holocaust agnostic. It wasn't really my intention to bring this subject up here on GC. In retrospect I see my introductory wording was responsible for this. I wanted to draw a comparison between what is generally believed to have happened to Jewish people under the Nazi in WW2 with the internment in concentration camps etc. and the increasing similarity to what is happening in popular culture to pedophiles, i.e. being beaten and attacked from all sides, public naming and shaming. registration and indeterminate sentencing, castration, in some cases chemical and otherwise, being percieved by society as being bad, not necessarily for your actions, but because of who you are, or who society believes you to be, i.e. simply because one is known to be erotically attracted to the young.

As apparently in Germany there was at one time a concern among some about what constitutes being a Jew, and if you were determined by authorities to meet the qualifications of being Jewish you would likely be placed in a concentration camp. This is my understanding I am not a WW2 historian.

As there must have been some standards that were used ( i really don't know what it was) I thought that similarly pedophiles if it came to the point that they were actually being placed in concentration camps( as I believe may be possible) simply because of their attraction, and not for any commission of a crime, and that this would likely involve some standard to determine who is to be regarded as a "pedophile" and placed in one of these camps. i am actually curious about how authorities in this scenario would draw a cut off point between 'normal adult attraction to children and towards the beauty of youth and what would be regarded as a mental emotional condition which exceeded the accepted bounds of the "normal" making one likely to be interned if discovered. What degree of attraction would be necessary to be regarded as being a pedophile? like how much Jewish blood did one have to have before they were regarded by the Nazi as being Jewish?

This was the theoretical comparison I was raising for the sake of discussion. It was not my intention to agitate for anti semetic sentiments through my post.
