The class certification motion distinguishes two classes, heterosexual men and minor attracted men. Homosexual men are generally excluded as little is known about their rates of incidence of commission of these types of crimes. Women are excluded because very little is known about their incidence rates of minor attraction, though it certainly occurs with some frequency (likely the same as in men). In Indianapolis:
~289,000 adolescent and adult heterosexual men (less a very small number of homosexual men) commit around 300 acts of child molestation in Indianapolis per year. The Bureau of Justice does not break reported statistics out in a fashion that is useful on this question, so I have not determined the accuracy of this number. I will be able to do so once the case moves to trial and I have access to discovery. ~7,500 adolescent and adult minor attracted men commit around 50 acts of child molestation in Indianapolis per year. These estimates correlate believably to the number of sex offenders registered in Indianapolis: 2,700 heterosexual males and 300 minor attracted males. I do not agree with Markaba's assertion that we are at a higher risk than heterosexual for commission of this crime. I believe the increased risk derives from the social isolation in which we spend our lives, and I am surprised it is not higher given the severity and harshness of that repression - which indicates to me that if we were allowed to live as free men, our race would be significantly lower than heterosexual men.
