Obviously you've not been reading the news. CP (child protection...) agencies do not need to worry about 'the law'. Sure after years of court action, someone with an absolute lilly white record could be exhonorated, and their 'children' returned (probably the 'children' would not be childern any longer as the process takes so long...).
'The Law' in many states protects the first level of reporters of suspected abuse, and any agencies which are involved. The fact that Kevin Brown is 'active' in the paedophile 'movement', is by that fact alone, sufficient grounds for some to believe any child in his presence is 'in danger', especially any child in his care. Recall, and perhaps you live in a completely different jurisdiction... I live in a country where a minor traffic stop is 'probably cause' for an anal search, if the officer involved 'thought he may have smelled something funny'... Recall, that in this country a person 'leaving' the country with a bag of toys and candy can be arrested as a 'attempted paedophile'. As for 'freedom of speech', as the ancient song says, 'freedom 's just another word for nothing left to loose'. This of course is not to say that Kevin Brown should not use all legal avenues available... just that it is pretty grimm future. |
